130 gas tank

What's the quickest and safest way to clean the gas tank on my IH 130 thanks

Take it to a radiator shop and have it cleaned (call them first). More local would be to strap it to the rear wheel of a different tractror (after rinsing it out with detergent and water) put a hand ful of selected peanut sized stomes, or 1/2" nuts, and drive around for 15 min. or so to get things scoured up. Then rinse again and dry. Ethanol fuel (about 1/2 gallon) with a can of Heet (DRY GAS) in it will absorb the remaining water. Putting a coat of fuel tank liner/sealer in it will help prevent future rusting. Jim
