460 scrap value

Lookin to buy a 460 that has been setting for a long time outside. All parts are there and tractor is complete. Want to be fair to the man, so was looking at the very minimum value and we could go up from there. Just lookin for a ballpark place to start. Thanks for your time.

they weigh more than they can get for them down here but i'd say about 600

Henry is right, it weighs about 5500 lbs empty including tires, probably has wheel weights which will more than compensate for the non metal parts. Locally scrap is about $210/ton. 210*3 tons=$630. I hate to see it scrapped.

A couple of years ago i gave 1,000. for a fenc row 460D Runable with decent rear tires,weights,fast hitch,wide front,and good ta.I have spent considerable money since trying to make it start better cold but it will never be a winter tractor.Bud.

$600 is too much unless you are making a donation. If you can't make a couple of hundred on it why bother?

I sold one a year ago I advertised on this site for 750 bucks that run but need valve work,radiator was shot,tires shot sheet metal all there minus fenders that was just rotting out side,before the engine set up.Scott
