Fuel Gauge 986

Fuel gauge not working, grounding sending unit does not help. Any suggestions?

with the aux tank under the left fender, there are two sending units wired in series. i forget which order, but if you find the wire from the gauge and ground that, you should tell if the gauge works.

The wire comes from the gauge to the aux sender and then to the main tank sender and then to ground.

To check the gauge just ground the wire from the gauge and see it it moves. If not then check the wire and then the gauge.
