12v pos to 12neg jump connections?

want to convert b414 gas to 12v negative ground. which wires do I touch together to reverse the generator polarity? my regulator is marked D E A F and the generator has 2 leads, 1 with a single lead, then a 2nd with 2 larger leads attached.

Why the heck do you want to switch the way it is grounded??? + ground works just fine and has for decades and works just as good as - ground does unless you want to hook up a radio maybe but that is about the only thing that would be effected by which way it is grounded

You hopefully have a terminal on your regulator marked GEN and another marked BAT. Momentarily touch them together with a jumper wire. There should be a light arc. I have an M converted to 12V negative ground. The biggest reason I wanted negative ground is if I ever have to jump the battery, I can do it with my pickup truck.

Same as the last tine it was answered.
BUT why? IF the vehicles are not touching--metal to metal, just hook + to + and - to -. Doesn't make a dang differance.
