Farmall M Starting Problem

I have a starting problem with my Farmall M. I am getting fuel to the carb, ut it wont start. I have traced down the wiring to the condensor and the is where my test light stops lighting. It has power to it but nothing after it, dead or turning over. Please advise.

The condenser wire is connected to the points, so if you have fire at that point, and the points are clean, and adjusted right, you should have fire when the break.

I meant to say the "resistor". Here is a picture of where the power ends.

Presuming you see no voltage where your finger is pointing, problem's a short in the distributor. Could be the insulating bushing supporting the distributor primary terminal, shorted points or (long shot...) a shorted condenser.

Suggest removing each part one at a time and repeating your voltage check after each one. When power shows up at the coil terminal you've found the shorted part!
