I-4 alternator conversion

I"m wanting to put an alternator on my "47 I-4. I see complete conversion kits on eBay for H and Super H tractors and would assume that the same kit should fit the W/O/I tractors as well. I asked the seller about it and his reply was: "No, H and Super H only". I"m not sure he even knows that the W-4, O-4 and I-4 are derivatives of the H. I see no reason why the charging unit that fits one wouldn"t fit the others as well. Am I just not getting what the difference would be or does the seller just not know what all his product should fit?

I do not know about the kits but I would think all you would have to do is to measure the space under your hood and see if the alternator would fit.
