international 350 utility steering

I just bought a international 350 utility 350 with a badly broken
manual steering box. Would like to replace it with power steering.
What parts do I need and how hard is it to do.

Good luck--Power steering is a supplement to the manual steering so you still need the parts. There is a person in Jetmore, KS, Jim Nicholson (hope I spelled that right) has the name. I believe he converts it to cylinders with no direct connection to the steering wheel, all hydraulic. That may be a possiblility.

You are correct, the Jackson Power Steering Company does have pure Hydro, as well as boosted standard steering systems. They would be my first choice. Jim

The tractor had the option of power steering from the factory. So what I need to know is what parts do I need from the tractor salvage yard. I know the steering box itself but where does it connect and is there a priority valve etc.

What we are trying to tell yoy is that there are no parts available (unless made by a machinest and then tempered and polished (worth more than the tractor) You could find a used set, but again they are a week spot on hte tractor, and the Jackson solution is really the best. It is possible to create one yourself, but you will need combine conmponents, and gears to mimic the action of the existing box.
A 460U box can be made to work with some machining and fabrication. A non power box will also work with jackson PS assist.
Jim.
