IH #16 plow

I have a #16 plow and am wondering if anyone knows what size the tire is supposed to be on the tail wheel? Also, did this plow originally come with what I would call a tail wheel tire? By that I mean smooth and slanted to one side with a single rib.

My #8 was a 4.00x12. I would venture to guess they are the same.

Farmallboy is correct on the size of tire you need. The smooth and angled tire is sold by Miller Tire. Years ago that type of tire was quite common. Nowadays seems like most people just go to a farm supply store and buy a regular trailer tire...buy whatever you think you want.
I have the Miller Tire on my plow and it gets quite a few comments at shows. It is, however, a little "pricey".
That #16 plow is a nice high clearance plow.
