Regular PTO extension Vs. F-20

Is the PTO extension for the Regular different than the F-20?

yep, wont fit at all. the regular rearend housing doesnt have the 4 bolt holes in the bottom of it like the 20's do. regular PTO extensions mount off 4 stud that have to be changed out in the pumpkin cover

correct. designed for the regular, but it could be used on a 20. one made for a 20 wont work on a regular.

Ok thanks that is what I needed to know. I have a regular and would hate to spend money on something that won't work.

FM, you wont see may for sale that are for a Regular with the rear mounting brackets.
I have seen many F-20 extension on regulars with homemade brackets. The F-20 PTO"s are easyer to come by. oldiron29

If you bought the Regular extension that you posted the link for... CONGRATS! It is in good shape and has all the parts and you paid a fair price I think. As we looked for our Regular PTO extension for about 9 months before finding one at a junkyard. We paid $165 plus shipping - so both are in the same ball park.

Here is a picture of ours (tractor will always remain rusty). We never saw another until the one recently posted on ebay.
