'39 A rear weights - 1 or 2?

"39 A Farmalls do not have the heavy cast wheel on the right side. The parts book lists 1 as the required number for s/n 501 to 5563. Is, therefore, one weight on the right side proper, or a pair (right & left) be used?

I would use one on each side ,thats what i usually do.

The As came from the factory with a cast center on the drivers side. No add on wts but you can add what ever you want. The cast center on the drivers side weighed about the same as the add -ons.

For safety put one on the right side to get about the same weight as the cast center.

My '40 came with two weights so just figured that was right. Thanks for posting.
