Best Looking Farmall / IH?

What do you all think was the best looking tractor produced by IH. I'm partial to the 66 series with a 2 post ROPs and canopy.

Even though im partial to the M, I have to say that the Farmall 450 is one sharp tractor when all shined up.

The ergonomics coupled to style in tractors is clearly H and M Farmall"s ball game. The features and style/design (in 1939) were found on other tractors, But not on a single set of Sister/Brother tractors Like those two. Jim

Guys
I am stuck on the old letter series tractors always appealed to me. Of course I like all the older tractors. But for there size I like and would own a Super A

I like the 656,666,and 686 myself. The canopy adds a little extra to the looks.

Older tractors I have to go with a Super MTA. Newer tractors is a toss up for me between a 1206 and a the larger 66 series. I love the looks of the 66 series cab with the windows tinted, and I also like them with a 2 post roll bar canopy.

I own 2 runnable Hs and 2 Ms but an open station 1206 caught my attention I had a chance to buy. Too much money at the time. Early Deere Soundgard cabs on the 4240 always got my attention. Might have a chance on that one down the road.

I'll vote for the 350/450 series. I was practically raised on a C and Super C, I have a 240U, Dad had an H and a 460 (and an M he didn't have long enough for me to see), I have driven or worked with several models, but I really liked the 350D and 450 where I worked on a SD ranch in '64.

Well, as someone who studies industrial design I have to give the nod to the M as it was styled by famous designer Raymond Loewy (who went on to do the Studebaker Avanti, among other things).

In terms of more modern machines, I really have a soft spot for the 454/464.

i too would vote for the 1206 as the white fenders and grill really make it a sharp lookin tractor but my second choice would be the 88 series with the full side panels gave them a smooth look.

This one is kinda my favorite!

For me it has to be the Farmall M, followed by the F12. I like the Farmall H too, but I did nearly all my early tractor work on a 1939 M and I feel at home driving an M; everything looks in the correct proportions. The F12 looks very different, but I like it. Somehow I don't like the look of the Farmall Regular, F20 and F30 rear axle arrangement as much as the F12; no good reason for that, just a question of taste I guess.

Can't understand why so many like the 350/450. If you were to paint the grill red, then I would agree.

Have to like the tractors below, but I will never own either. I have too many other tractors now. I need to think about getting rid of a few which include 5 SMTA that are surplus to me.

i know why... cause its canadian. ya i have a soft spot for the big old 9's. up to the 660's.

I suppose I'm biased, but I've always thought the M was the best lookin' thing on four wheels...

I do like the looks of a 400 wide front with the chrome trim though...

As most of you know I'm not overly fond of the M but will say that for it's day against the competition it was one of the best looking tractors.
