I bought a IH 3444 Loader Backhoe last week. When I tried to use the hoe, it seemed to work quite well but over the span of a few minutes the hydraulics had no power to lift the boom off the ground. The swing did not work at all.
A few days later, I tried it again with same results, very weak hydraulics. I was pulling levers to check what works and pulled the swing lever at the same time as other levers and the hydraulics worked just fine. When I hold the swing lever for any other function, everything works with good power and speed.
Any ideas what can be wrong? Is it possible that oil is bypassing in the spool until such time the swing lever is pulled stopping the flow thru and directing it to other functions? What can be wrong with the swing function. I have been told this is a weak spot on these hoes.
I've ordered a manual but still waiting for it. I'd like to get this machine working. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
