I have a f-140 farmall that is getting hydraulic fluid in the motor oil.The only way for that to happen is through the front pump seal right?Do i replace the pump or is there a rebuild kit for it.If that is not the problem can anyone tell me. Thanks! J.A.Lappin

Just remoe the pump and replace the front seal. Mite need to add a speedy sleeve where the seal rides if it has a worn place there.

there is another way that fluid can get into the crankcase, through a crack in the pump housing.when you remove the pump, check it throughly for cracks.

There are 2 o rings on the engine side of the pump. Probably worn oblong.
Replacing them should do it, but if it is worn bad, you may need new barrels in the pump. An IH pump will cost you what you could buy a donor tractor for.
