I have a super h I put new rings in i took it out and worked it now oil comming out exhaust, think they might have sold me the wrong rings is this possible and would it do this compression is 55 on each cyclider and what should conpression b on a super h, all cyclinder are wet with oil

With a compression of 55PSI, I'm surprised you can even get it to start. That is VERY LOW. Compression should be 125PSI or higher on a new engine.

If all you did was throw a set of rings in it, I'm not surprised that you got the results that you did.

At the very least, the cylinders need to be checked to make sure they're not worn excessively. If they're okay, you need to hone a cross-hatch pattern into the cylinder walls which will seat the rings and create a good seal.

it is posible to get the wrong rings...
did you replace cylinder sleeves also???
if you did nothing with the sleeves, theres your problem, even tho' you replaced the rings the sleeves still need to have some attention done to them for new rings to seat.or the ring gaps could be line up allowing oil into the combustion chamber,,,pull plugs and see which one is giving you trouble and go from there...

did hone ck cylinder and replaced with new rings, but will tear down again and measure end gap, did not do that thanks, never dreamed about getting wrong rings, all cyclinders are getting oil

I would expect that you might have rings for an H, the compression is very bad.

ALWAYS check end gap.

Sleeve checking:
Maximum reasonable wear is .003 to .004" taper. Ridge must be removed and the glaze breaker hone run through it for a 45 degree pattern. Measure with a telescopic bore gauge at the top of the wear (just below the ridge, and at the bottom where the piston rings do not travel. Jim
