Model: FC
Serial #149037
It is a McCormick Farmall IH is it a C or Super C

I think that is a C but some one that knows the coding better will conform if I am right

If you go to research and info then serial numbers then Farmall then C and then Super C you will find your number does not fit in the C area but does in the Super C as in a 1952 Super C. 1952 SC starts with a 13,xxxx and the 53 starts with 15xxxx

It's a Super C because of the 6 digit serial no. All straight C's had 5 or less digits for a serial no. If the seat base and s/n tag were salvaged from a Super C and then installed on a straight C that rationale wouldn't be correct but there are several notable differences between straight C's and the Super C's as well which could be pointed out if needed, Hal.
