How tight is too tight

I am actually learning some stuff like this! I am dabbling in Industrial Maint. I am never (hopefully...) going to do anything with it, but they are handy skills around home and the farm. I wanted to go to learn to run machine tools and weld by the book, but they won't let you just take the classes you want to. You have to be enrolled in a program. Little do they know I am only going to take half the program and drop out.

The 9...ehh I found a "good deal" on a set of rears so I bought those. With soil sampling season and that big expense I am kind of at a stand still in that department. I don't have the trans cover off yet, but that is my next step. HOPEFULLY all I will need is a set of seals for the rear end and some machine work on the clutch/brake pedals and shaft. I took the rear rims and tires off. It sure does look small with those off!

I started finding out how lacking my tool collection was with this project as well!!! I guess I am in no hurry because I can't afford to be if I want to do it like my picky tastes demand. The end of the year is always tight for us because of putting money in the kids college accounts. The other problem is my feed bill is always really high and I don't get any money coming in until March at the earliest. Those 200 lb feeder pigs sure can eat!!! Emily helped me weight a third of them to get an average weight for the pen. I divided the feed cost by all the weight and it will cost me about $217 per pig!!! Market is about $190 MAX. I had them on CL for $225 and can not barely get a phone call.

When they say, "don't overtighten" on how-to shows, they really should refer you to something like this.
