H oil filter

Hi guys,
Where do you guys go online to order an oil filter for a farmall H. Mine has the canister that the filter goes inside and a bolt that goes through the middle. Or do you have a Napa #? Thanks in advance.

I can't remember the NAPA number but if you tell them what you have they can probably look it up, I know my local one did and had it on the shelf.

You have 2 choices; long or short filter. Measure from the filter base to where the curve begins on the filter housing. Be sure to get a new rubber gasket (square-cut O-ring) and dig ALL the old gasket out of the groove with a dental tool or equal.

CaseIH dealer 3 miles from my parents' farm has them right on the shelf out in the showroom. The other dealer 30 minutes from my place also has them right on the shelf out in the showroom.

I just walk in, grab one, pay, and leave.

Napa number 1172 or 1125 if you have the long one

I buy mine at CaseIH dealer and it is a little cheaper then the local farm stores.

Just do a Google search for Farmall oil filter.

The short one at NAPA is 1172. The gasket comes with it.
