2424 Clutch Not Working

My 2424, aka industrial 424 has lost its clutch. It is parked at a neighbors. I stopped over there and there is no resistance at all when I push down on the pedal. I need to drive it over to my shop where it is warm. What am I in for on this? Will I have to split the tractor? Looks like there is a cover plate below that I will need to remove to see up into the housing.

Make sure it is not an external linkage issue. If not, starting it in gear and driving it would not be too hard. Be sure to get it out of gear, and or shut it off early. Jim

I drove a 3cyl Saab Monticarlo 345 miles on a vacation with a clutch that had grenaded. We pulled the aluminum engine (2stroke) and set it on a rock then used thick washers on the remaining rivets for "friction material" then put it together with no throwout bearing. No real issue. Jim

Got it home and in the shop. Pulled the bottom cover off and it does not look good. the "ears" are wore off that press against the throwout bearing which is in 2 pieces. I am not 100% sure but it looks like it will need to be split.
This thing has a loader on it also that I am guessing wil need to come off?
I guess I was ready for another project before winter got over with.

Going through my manuals now to see what is involved.

Here is what it looks like.

Sounds like it's going to need a split, and taking the loader off will make it a lot easier to deal with.
