Head no# help

Bought a head at the swap meet yesterday. Told it was a 300 head. Can't find the casting no# in books. #361479R1, what did it come from ? Thanks

I googled the number and found where D Slater had said that that number is an original 300 gas head. It has been my experience that if he says something it is true, he is very knowledgeable.

I am getting a 300 head rebuilt and the # on it is 361479 R1.

Thank you for all your help. I checked the caseIh parts books and they didn't list this casting no#. But the SH page would not come up, so I was concerned it might be SH
