200 clutch

Installedmnewclutch in Farmall 200. throwout bearing is new also. cannot disengagethe clutch, We have an IT manual all it says to do is adjust the free travel.

Are you sure you didnt get the disc in backwards.

Free travel is the only adjustment there is. It's a very simple clutch system.

If it's not disengaging, you probably put the disk in upside down like gene says.

I came across the same problem on a tractor I was working on, the problem was the rebuilt pressure plate release fingers were improperly adjusted and it would not allow the clutch to fully disengage.

ran a strait edge across the face and used a good ruler to get them as close as possible, haven't had any problems.
