Carburetor issue with Farmall H

Where can I get a good exploded view of an H carburetor? I noticed gas dripping the other day from the choke lever, and when I pulled the intake hose it was full of gas, I assume I have either a sticking float, or a bad needle valve. Is there a way to get to it without taking the carburetor all the way apart? If I pull the bowl, then I am left making or searching for a new gasket.

You may be able to use the old gasket again, sometimes I have gotten lucky when taking them apart. You can drop the bowl with 3 screws with the carburetor still on the tractor and see what is going on. external_link probably has an exploded parts diagram, I am not sure but it would be worth a look.

You can buy a kit from O'Reilly's auto parts for around $20 and it has a good instruction sheet with a good exploded picture of the carb. Well worth it

Thanks, it seems to be an intermittent problem, I have left the fuel turned on all day after starting the tractor this morning, and no leak. I am running Seafoam through the system, so it may clear up on it's own. Could be just a little trash.

There is also a drain port to keep the fuel from filling up the intake. Yours is plugged. Fix that when you fix the float/needle valve problem.
