460 flywheel bolts

I am bringing a 460 back from the dead. Does anyone know how long the bolts that hold flywheel to crank need to be?

Gas and diesel share the same FIAT dba CIH part number, 9409050, NO length is given.

You can bet they are a Grade 8 bolt and MAY have a special shank design.

They are pretty pricey at the dealer @ almost twelve bucks, but I wouldn"t use a substitute... I"d look for some good used ones or spend the $70.00 for new ones. NOT a location to use the wrong fasteners!

Original equipment was a grade 8 place bolt (six slotted head) and torqued to 60 ft lbs. This type of bolt locks by deforming the head when torqued. Also, use sealer on threads as the holes in crankshaft go right through. Can't tell you the length though so probably not much help. Just long enough to full thread in crankshaft though.
