The original subject was "IHC sickle bar mower".

I have one of these too that I took out of the shed to make room for something else. Can not tell, but mine "lifts" by using a cultivator hydraulic cylinder pushing forward from the rear axle, attached to a long rod & chain to the mower. No lever.

I used one for many years on a John Deere H with no hydraulics. It had a hand lever attached to the lifting shaft and a counterbalance spring to assist lifting. Later on I puyt it on a John Deere B with hydraulics and converted it to use a cylinder. Still have the old lever somewhere.

Are you looking to get rid of it? If it fits an A or an M and it"s all there I might be interested. E-mail is open. Brian
