Upsize to 38" from 36" Double bevel to single?

I'd like to install a set of 13.6x38's on my 340 from my SM. The 340 has a 2.5" axle while the SM is 2.75" so and simple hub swap won't work. The 340 has double bevel rims while the SM is single.

Is it possible to get the SM wheels onto the 340 centers?

I did something like that a number of years ago. I used centers and rims from an H to do it but had to grind down the for lack of better word the Waldorf key since the H rims had a pair and the 340 a single

Don't wory about the key. One will be fine. You need the wheel centers off of an H. They are 2 1/2. Then you can use the SM rims and tires.
