Why not have yours rebuilt? Nebraska Kirk does them. They are also relatively easy to work on, I have also done 3 of them.

ePay has them. Get ready for sticker shock. Also, Joe's Farmall has them. Not sure if Nebraska Cowman has any in stock or not.

whats wrong with yours. Sometimes a good cleaning of the impulse area is needed. You were supposed to remove the mag and clean that end in kerosene. This will free up the pawl and spring area pluss lube it some. I have some good ones we could trade.

Sold the one off of that tractor to a guy that was in need of it asap and got a good price from him. My tractor had been sitting for awhile and wasn't using it at the time.

If you didn't note and make a sketch where your rotor was pointing when you pulled the mag you sold. You will need to bring No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke before installing your replacement mag. Call this number for your mag. Hal
