I just bought a Farmall C Diesel, can anyone tell me anything about it? I never knew they existed.

They were produced in France. They had a nice hydraulic 3pt hitch and other features. Nice find.

There is a guy in Bettendorf,Iowa who has restored one you need to get in contac with him he was able to get the injector pump serviced in NW Iowa i wil try and get his name. Another one in New York very neat tractor sun quiet and smooth.

A guy had one at the gilmore car museum tractor show in Michigan this year. Looked foreign so the made in france comment helps me make sense of it.

Charlie - Congratulation on your purchase!

The C Diesel is a neat llittle tractor. I've spotted a few in southern Ontario, Cananda. Never one in the US however.

Did however catch this nice 1958 FD 235 (the evolution of the French Farmall C diesel) at the Western NY Gas & Steam show a couple years ago:

I saw that one at the Gilmore show and the same on the week before at RPRU. That tractor is a French FCD.
