M live hyd pump

I have an M with a live hyd pump that is weak. Its very slow and so weak that when the tractor gets good and warm it wont lift the blade on the three point. Can you buy overhaul kits or do some machine work to get it back to working again?

Not rebuildable. Seals yes make it pump, no. They are aluminum, and when the case gets scrubbed, there is no rebuilding that is durable. I have seen new ones in the 400 range, and more commoly 700. Shopping is a good thing.
Change the screen and it might help some. thicker Hydraulic Transmission oil might make a big difference. Mobile, Shell and othes make it. Jim

Do the pump suction and pressure line openings on the bare pump point up, down or to the rear?

The lines are on the top. The pump is cast iron not aluminum. Does that make it rebuildable?

Look up Vollbrachts, I believe they rebuild the M&W pumps.
