This is a 1941 Model, has been in the family since the 1950's. It sat for 20 years before we got it going again, all it needed was new wiring and a few other electrical components, also some front rims. It is currently used to pull a 2 bottom plow and for fun. Other things done include a new seat bushing and a rebuilding of the carb after bad gas was put in.

I love the looks of your H and your farm--it makes me think of 40 years ago when my Dad was alive and farming and we'd finished picking cotton and cutting stalks, and getting ready to start "flat breaking" with 2 and 3 bottom moldboard plows! Thanks for the memories!

I love this H, standing tall! Are those original tires> I have not seen that pattern in well lets say quite awhile. Looking GOOD!

If you're talking about the one on top I think the one rear tire might be original, the other side has been replaced, I'd like to see if there's a way to get a date off of it.

This is our 1941 H that my grandpa bought around 1950 also. My dad, brother , and I restored it in 2005. It sat in our barn for 15-20 years with the engine out of it for a rebuild.

I have posted this before, but here is my 1951 h baling hay for the first time (at least for me - LOL) earlier this year.

Wife is running the tractor and painted herself out of my pics as usual - LOL.

I have a early 1940 serial #24901 that my grandpa bought around 1958 and it been in the same building ever since and it will start anytime needed. As far as I know it was refurbished and general repair before he bought it and very little repair since then. Doesn't see much use so it stays in pretty good shape.cleddy

Farmall H can be used for many different things. My youngest daughter asked me on the 4th of July if I would have my 39 H back together for her wedding on Sept 4. I had the tractor completely apart, every nut and bolt, the first picture is of the pile of misc parts that I was sandblasting and priming. Well I made it.

Here's a 49 I restored. My first tractor restoration. Went way overboard and lost money when I sold it for 4950. Auctioneer said that was highest priced H he had ever sold. (three years ago.

Here's my H that I bought from my grandpa in 73. He bought it in 52. I've had it longer than he did. I bought his IH spreader also. This pic is about a year old.
