Farmall H water pump

I have a farmall H and the water pump is weeping up by the 2 springs at the fan not bad but I want to fix it is there packing and what size packing and how much and how do you go about this

Try to tighten the nut down first. If that doesnt work add a couple rounds of packing. You can get them at your local ih dealer. Also pump some grease into both zerks to make sure the shaft and bearings are lubed. That should push excess water out of the shaft area.

Grease it and tighten the packing nut. You'll need a 7/8 stubby wrench. I bet that will take care of your weep.
