15/40. In the 'old days',there was no such thing as multivis oils.The mfg recomended different wts according to the average seasonal temperature.With the (superior) modern multiviscosity oils,that is no longer an issue.Run 15/40 year'round.
 
I a a little south of you by Lacrosse and I use 15-40 year round in farmall M H and a TO30. Any of them will start in the winter.

I would run a 10W-30 if it needs to start this winter in unheated storage, otherwise 15W-40. I am partial to Delvac, others like Rotella.
 
I would agree with the 15-40 or if you don't want to use that then get some 20-20w. We used to run that winter and summer in a variety of things from old cat diesels to cars. In mid MI area North east of Lansing.
