Farmall cub 1948 brakes job

I need to put brakes on my Farmall cub 1948. I have been told when you take the bad tire off it can flip over.So what should I do when I take the back tire off.

When I did brakes on a cub I used a over head chain hoist and a 2 point hook up so there was no way it was going any where.

It wont really tip over but it will tip side to side. Put a wedge block of wood between front axle and bolster on both sides.

Be sure to replace the axle seals when replacing the brakes.

wedge frotn axle as said.. and cribb up securely.
