52 Super H head

I have 1952 Super H with a cracked head. I need to replace it. Will a head from a regular H work? Is the regular H head the same? Thanks in advance.

If its gasoline a 8043DC H head is pretty common. They will work if you have flat top and some other pistons. With some raised pistons the head combustion chamber edge on one side needs to be beveled and blended a little to clear. If you compare the SH combustion chamber to the 8043DC one you can see the difference. Do you have a 8043DD or a longer casting number head that's cracked?
Also SH tractors didn't start until 1953.

There is an outfit in Iowa that specializes in welding cracked IH blocks. If you get one of their heads you will not want to put in on your tractor but put it on the coffee table instead.
Someone on here must know them I got mine from Salem Tractor Parts, and left them my core.605-425-3007.
