Turbo Onto Farmall 460LP???

Just for grins, could a turbo be added to a Farmall 460LP? If so how much horsepower might it add? And, having heard the history of the rear end problems in 460s and 560s, would there be problems from too much horsepower? Thanks for your considerations. kelly

Remember there are only four main bearings in that engine.It could be done but I would not get real carried away.Scott

I wouldn't

LP's run hot as they are already. unless your gonna run at least an air to air intercooler your probably going to have burnt valve issues

I cant imagine a 460LP is that common of a tractor to engine with. go get an M and turbo that.
