DT-360 camshaft hole / bolt

We've got a 756 converted to diesel with a DT-360 truck engine.

He's got it apart because it was pi$$ing a stream of oil out the back.

There is a 3/8" threaded hole in the end of the camshaft that looks like it takes a flat-head machine screw.

Should there be a screw in there?

Sounds like you are missing the "O" ring/packing that seals the camshaft bushing bore to the engine back cover/flywheel housing.
