lower spindle assy is supposed to be tilted back where it bolts to the bolster. I-H moved pedestalls back a long time ago to make steering easier this happened in the 40s as earlier tractors the pedestal was straight so they moved them back 1 1/2 degrees for the easier steering.

thanks Gene, when I put the bolster on it did not look right slightly tilted fwd so I did not tighten the bolts. Thought I had better check and appreciate the info. We will turn it 180, thanks
