Farmall H Lift-Cylinders

Hello all again. Had an issue with my plow setup this morning. The plow would only raise up about two inches and act like it was binding up. I determined it was the cylinder, thinking it may have froze up some with this cold weather. So after I brought it in and warmed it up, I pulled it apart and found oil had leaked by the piston seal and was not letting the cylinder go all the way.

Is it still possible to get a new seal for the piston for the one-way lift-all cylinders? I got two of these, the one I am using and one that is locked up. Would be nice to have the both. Thank you,

The leather is pretty common. Google leather piston cups and there should be many sources. THey are not complex. Make sure it has clean smooth cylinder walls. Rust pits and scoring will shorten the life of new cups radically. Jim

It"s a one way cylinder, no plugs in it. It even has the lift all
decal on it stil. A plug would have been nice to drain the oil
out though.

They are still available through your Case IH dealer. I rebuilt one last summer. I don't have the part numbers handy though.

Sorry that this doesn't have anything to do with your question but I was wanting to know how you have your hydraulic hoses hooked up? Also do you have a return hose that comes from the top of each cylinder back to the belly pump?

There is only one hose as it is a single action cylinder. I don"t have the Double acting attachment for my belly pump. I do have a quick connect in line for ease of removal. The package said it was for a single action system.
