That is an IH #39 tumblebug plow( or rollover) believe built from 1939 to 1954 around 16,000 produced. I have one they are a blast at plow days.

No,

It's a #39 tumble-plow. A tumblebug is another implement entirely.

Will try and get a picture of a tumblebug when I feed tomorrow 'cause there is one sitting right at my gate. :>)

As for the value, it all depends on where you're at. In irrigated regions (like Colorado where mine came from) the are very common and essentially field-ready units go for less than $200. In the midwest or back east they are considered more unique and would probably sell for more.

The instruction manual for this plow says: "McCormick-Deering Roll-Over Two-Way Plow No. 39". We called it a tumblebug plow here in western Colorado.

No 39 tumble plow.Yes they ARE a blast at the plow days. They are getting scarce,as so many have been scrapped.Last one I saw at a sale brought $300.

So how many of these plows can you line up to purchase for less than $200. I might be interested in several.
