Dumb question pulling to the right

Ok I have a dumb question so I picked up a 560 diesel it has a Swartz wide front I like it better than factor wide front on my 460 but when going down the road it pulls to the right can't figure out why new matched 7.50x16 s on front matched 15.5x38 rears running same tire pressures from side to side it does not wander just pulls to the right
Thanks dan

is there any wear in the spindle bushing ? If there is a difference in camber from side to side it will pull to the side with the most positive camber.

An eighth to 3/16" measured from a line scribed on the tire center rib, to the other side. Take the front to back difference. Make sure the tractor moved forward the last inch before checking to assure the system is loaded in the correct direction.
Road crown will also do the pulling even if the tractor is correct.
I also think there is a centering set of springs to make the PS stay straight. I think they are in the bolster. Jim

toe in- 1/8- 1/4"
in vehicles, the side with the more negative castor is the pulling side. all camber does is wear the tires if too much positive or negative. neither is adjustable on tractors other than toe in.
sure seems like a brake problem. have you felt the drums after driving ? if one is warmer than the other that's the culprit. also jack up the front and rotate the tires as you may have bad brgs. on one side. also a repack and brg inspection is a good thing to do.

I had the same problem with Swartz on my 720 JD.Mine would automatically swing to the right as soon as I started the engine, thats where it wanted to run,it was awful to drive down the road.Start it up and let it center itself, then adjust the tie rods accordingly to straighten it out.I set mine with 1/8 to 1/4" tow in and it goes straight down the road now without even holding the wheel.Ron

With all these suggestions, HOW is it pulling?

Is it twisting the steering wheel out of your hands? If so it is a hydraulic issue.

Is it just drifting to the right? It is a steering alignment issue.

My 806 did that for a year (first year I owned it) thought it was just worn out front end because most of it was loose. Then second summer it took off into the ditch while driving down the road and I had no control at all over the steering. Turned out it was a plugged filter starving the steering pump. Yes I should've changed the filter when I bought it but know the guy I bought it from and he usually takes care of that kind of thing so didn't think about it.
Now whenever it starts to drift I change the filter and the problem stops.

I have a IH454 with all hydro steering and it developed a problem of going right with steering wheel held straight. It also started leaking from the control valve which is at the end of steering wheel shaft just under the dash. I tried to rake with it and you had to constantly turn the steering wheel to the left like it wasn't connected to anything. Long story short, had to have valve rebuilt. It's actually a good system with the double ended cylinder up front.

well whats the verdict? p. s. manual? as it makes a big difference.
always nice to know results which seldom happens here, need more feedback on stuff. everyone puts in free advise and their own time helping work out problems, so thankyou's work for us also.
