468 cult

I have located a 468 cult that had been on a 766 and i am wondering if i can put it on my 706,the 766 is wider than the 706 and they had remodled the frontbracket to fit the 766 however i"m not sure what the bracked for a 706 looks like,any one have a picture of a 468 on a 706?Thanks for any help,Al

no pics but got one on an 806 right now. there are 3 brackets- 1 bolts on the front using the same holes as a suitcase weight bracket and 2 on the side rails. the front one would bolt up the same on either tractor since the bolt pattern is the same, but i'd imagine that to make the cult work on a X66 they probably would have had to stretch out the pipe part of the cult frame that goes across the front. so if you can visit, see if it looks like that pipe has been cut and welded.

to make it work on an X06 you could make some spacers to go between the frame rails and the side brackets or do some welding and narrow it back up to original specs, assuming that is what was done to it.

thanks for your reply,I could not see any change in the front cross frame that had been done,however the guide bracket had been changed and when bolted to the front of the 766 tractor it measured 52 inches off the ground, and this has me confused,thats a lot higher than it would be on a 706 or 806 or would it? Thanks Al

Thanks Mazemeister,that was a BIG help,the brackets they had on the 766 don,t look close to your pictures but i can modify them to fit my 706,again thanks for taking the time to help me out on this,Al
