Nice farmall super mta grill on ebay

I think they are too rare to set a 'value'.Depends on how much you want/need it and what your bank acct can stand.I sure its 'worth' (lots) more than a regular old M grill.....

This is how they can go. I was in a RV park at the 2008 RPRU in Columbia, Missouri in a motorhome and the person next to me was an elderly gentleman from California and had a NOS SMTA grille he had obtained quite some time before. He offered it to me for $500 before the show started but I had no use for it and am not into the trading stuff thing. The first day the show opened he traded it to a vendor for something like $800 worth of parts he could use. It was then traded between a couple of more vendors and in the end someone in a private jet flew in and supposedly purchased it from the last owner vendor for $1800. Rare items have no established limits as to what they can sell for is the moral of this story, Hal.

Post a photo of yours and I will give you an estimate to make as good as or BETTER than NOS.
When it comes to nos Farmall parts you have to remember they were mass produced, cheap, and FARM stuff. Pretty rough.

Ive sold 3 of them for $1000 each. Payed $200-350 depending on condition. Blast them to bare metal, do the body work to fit template's, correct mesh new screen, new lower insert and emblem fitted, and finshed in epoxy primer. Ive had people ask if they were N.O.S. or Aftermarket. They seem to sell fast but finding core SMTA grills to repair is hard and costly. Ive seen what I would call SMTA parts grills sell for $500. In ruff enough shape that I would have more time into repair then what it's worth. I only get $500 for a SM / M grill finished the same way. But can buy SM /M core grills for $50 -100.
