McCormick No 10 Seed Drill

On the weekend, I purchased a McCormick No 10 seed drill, with grass seed, and brome grass seed boxes. No what I was wondering, how do you determine, the rate of brome, grain, and fertilizer, per acre, the handle bars on the gauge, are flat, and stick out, past the gauge, while the one for the grass seed, has a pointer, that you can set, precisely, the pounds per acre, your wanting to plant at.
Your advice, is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bruce.

I'm guessing you probably didn't get a manual with it.

The manual will have all the seed rate information. IIRC there are a couple of different size drive sprockets you would use depending on the seed, so the settings would be depend on the sprocket.

No, didn't get a manual, for this grain drill, but I have one ordered. There isn't a seed rate chart, for the fertilizer, either. Now on the side of the drill, there is an adjustment, gauge, that goes up to 30. Can you give me an idea, of how many pounds, per acre, that will apply to? Thanks again, for the help.
