help identify IH sickle mowers

Wondering if I can get some help with figuring out what model sickle mowers I have. I'd like to get at least one in good working condition, two would be even better, but I can tell there are some diffences between them and not sure many parts will interchange.

This first one is one my dad bought with the acreage before I was born and I got it going right after high school, though it had some major issues to address. I think it was a model 31v? A few differences from the other mowers... had hydraulic lift, and the adjustment for the bar angle is made via the handle on the front corner of the frame. The safety release is up front, and the whole machine pivots when tripped. I also noticed the cutter bar seems to be extanded farther from the frame than the other two mowers.

This is a mower I picked up last fall from a gentleman on here. Think it's a model 27v? This one has hand lift. the frame has a different crossmember at the gear boxes as well as a differant hitch for mounting than the other mower. Bar angle adjustment is made via a "bolt & slot" arrangement. The safety release I think is the part that goes to the head of the cutter bar to the front right corner of the frame, and just the gear boxes and bar pivot.

This mower I picked up a few years ago for parts, but would like to get it going again if possible since it is a pull-type. It has the same safety release as the first mower, except it is right next to the gear boxes on the frame. Bar angle adjustment is the same configuration as the hand lift model, and the bar is closer to the frame like the hand lift model. I think it had hydraulic lift but is missing parts.

Any help would be appreciated. The gear boxes on the hand lift model are loose, the other two I couldn't move by hand but the mower in original post I had working a few years ago. I have more pictures I can post if needed. Thanks!

Couple more questions. Where can I get manuals for these IH mowers? I bought a manual for an H I had years ago from... Jensen Sales, that sound right? I think the cutter bars and gear boxes are the same, which mower should I try to save first?

I have a Model 32 that I still use occasionally. Yours seems pretty complete except for the brackets that operate the lift. It looks like some of the lift brackets are sitting on the frame next to the right tire.

They don"t have a "gearcase", the pulley that drives the pitman arm is on a shaft that is held by two bearings inside what I believe is called the "mainframe". Not hard to replace the bearings but getting to them is miserable. I think when they built that mower they started with that box and bolted everything onto and around it. That big round bar that curves around to hold the knife screws into the sleeve it"s on.

Look at nnalert
The ones I have gotten from them were generally good transfers, i.e. the quality of the images are good. I have not been impressed with JenSales so far.

For cutting hay, one of the semi-mounts might be more handy. With a little practice you can cut a square corner and not miss any hay. However, I have not used a drag type sickle mower.
