IH 444 Diesel tachometer

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement tachometer for my 1970 IH 444 Diesel?
I am told they are obsolete & I have no idea if there is an aftermarket to cross reference to that I could use. IH Part #388894R91 (counter clockwise rotation)

Any help would be appreciated!!

Try Stiener;or O.E.M. tractor parts

The tachometers fitted to the UK built tractors are anti-clockwise rotation and are no longer available. MJ

I just finished a 364 restoration and had a lot of problems with stuff like that. I had improvise. I found a tack through ai products that fits massey(hey its still red) it turns ccw, is right size, original cable fits, has backlight. it does say 1500 rpm and not 1400 above hourmeter. I think your 444 is similar to the 364. do a yahoo search of part a-1674638m92 for a picture. price about 35 bucks. I couldn't find new dash instrument cover so had local company make some. its real hard tell its not nos.
