I got my FFA project done 2 days before fair! It has been in the family since new. Engine overhaul, TA rebuild, power steering rebuild, hydrotouch rebuild, PtO rebuild, etc....it's been expensive and thorough. Thanks for all the help guys

Man those hundred series look great when done right !! !!
I see it has the early style fast hitch, and the front cultivator bracket with the eye bolts, nice tractor. I know how much work that was, Congrats on an excellent result !!

Looks good, you got room in the budget for a silver seat and I think the precleaner needs a half turn. Nice job

That's about as close to a full restoration as you can get. I congratulate you for your dedication and perfection. Jim

You are to be congratulated on a great and through restoration as it certainly is an eye catcher. As others have indicated find yourself a silver seat or have the original one recovered by Darrell Darst in Missouri and you will be very pleased, Hal.

That is one great looking 400.

Hopefully one of the guys here that mentioned the seat needing to be silver canvas would care to send you one as a donation towards FFA.

You do great work. Keep it up. Did Titan provide the tires for you? I wonder how many sets a fella can get if he restores a tractor every year. My son is 9 and I plan to get him started restoring tractors for 4H and when old enough FFA. He loves tractors. His F-20 will be one of his first projects.

I do have a silver canvas seat to put on, so it's not completely done yet. This is the 4th tractor I've restored in 4 years. My younger brother has restored 3, but I paint his. The free tires are a great incentive!

Haha, probably not! I'm headed to Iowa State this fall, so this will be my last restoration in a while

The weights front and back give it a mean, work horse look, but it's too pretty to take to the field. Maybe I'll see it at the state fair in Des Moines.

Yes, it will be up there! If you van find it among all the FFA tractors. There is usually 70 to 80 there, all with donated tian tires

Looks good. If you don't have the belt pulley gear box operating rod and rod holder that goes to the side of the instrument shroud? My email is open. Give address and will send if you want one.

Awesome job! And just cause you are heading to college doesn't mean you have to stop restoring them. I did my first fixer up job the summer of my junior year. I tore it down cleaned and painted it in 3 months. I didn't do nearly the work you did though. I'll give you some advise about college too. Go out and enjoy everything you can. If you think you might be interested in a class, take it. The best thing I ever did was taking 18 credits a semester so I could learn everything I could at school.

What a beauty! Nice work. I dont know why these dont get as much respect as the SMTAs. I'd rather have a 400 anyday. Especially this one! :)

What all did they use the belt pulley gear box for? I have one on mine.
