I give up on this pump

Trying to change the seals on this M & W pump I took off a Super M. The front seal is a no brainer but how on earth does this drive cog come off to get to the seal behind it? I also see no seal been the two body sections. (I've got to change the half moon keys holding the gears).

If it is keyed then it will have to be pulled from first glance i figured that it was a rev. thread .Now as to how much room is behind as to what kind of jaw puller you will need and it should be no less then a three jaw puller .
 
Should be a small retaining ring next to the shaft rear. Drive dog is supposed to slide off the keyed shaft. Provided my memory is not failing.
