old IH tools

While cleaning up my shop I came across a box of old tools that I guess I forgot about. Several of them are IH with part numbers on them. Is there any information on these tools that would show what machine or equipment they would have been issued with or purchased for? Examples are G3170, 12737DA.

The Super A came with a spark-plug socket #46 190DC, a double-ended, box-end wrench #350 370R1, an optional box-end #353 191R1 and a double-ended socket wrench #51 298D.

Thanks, but I'm guessing these wrenches would be from older tractors/machines etc. Maybe F-20, 10-20, horse drawn mowers etc.

Those numbers you mentioned were pretty common in pre-1940 tractors, engines, and power units. I don't know if they came with any implements.

Both of those wrenches are on the list of tools in
our Farmall Regular manual (either user manual or
parts book... don't remember which one).

both the G3170 and 12737DA were standard wrenches for most of IHC/McCormick Deering tractors and stationary engines. Take a look at any parts book, and those will be listed. I have occasionally also seen those listed as tools for some implements as well.

Both of those numbers are listed in the tool list section of my F-12 Parts Book. G3170 is an "S" wrench for 5/8" & 3/4" abd 12737DA is an "S" wrench listed for 1/4" & 5/16". Coincidentally they are on my list of wrenches to find and purchase one of these days. If you're so inclined, I'd be interested.
