Just finished complete overhaul of TEA20 S79378E in Cornwall UK. Negative earth with alternator. On the ignition mostly new parts. Carb cleaned. Would not fire. Checked everything. In the end found dist timing clamp was sitting too low on dist body (partly as dist studs were unscrewed not associated nuts). This was holding dist too high and preventing dist rotor shaft locking into oil pump head. No rotation - no spark!! [/b]
