Hello all,

We replaced the piston and pressure sensor, got tractor back together. The lift was going up, and down ok, but would move at the slightest movement of the lift lever, there was no half way, just all the way up and very slowly down. We had the lift arms up and they all of a sudden hit the ground hard. Now it will not lift or anything, when we move the lift lever up and start back down it falls freely, like something broke. We can lift the arms by hand, but they won't stay, and there's no pressure to hold them. Any suggestions?

I installed a NEW HYD. Pump on a MF 35. I had the same thing happen to my lift arms as you have. When I removed the ROUND Inspection plates on either side of the Differential Case, it was obvious the control levers that are to operate the area with the WHITE CIRCLE had become dislodged and aloud the HYD. Oil to bleed off the lift piston. The levers had to be in such a manner that they contact the control ROLLER in the centre.

Your '30 pump is a copy of the 20 pump which is a duplicate of the Ford 9N and 2N. The '35 is a different aminal.
Either way, you get to pull off the side covers and what came undone or borked. If you stick your hand in there
with the engine running, you will get a bloody stump when it comes out. capeech?

What is the thing you are calling a "pressure sensor"??? Are the arms of the "H" shaped control fork holding the "T" shaped control valve actuator rod in their sockets?

The part in calling the pressure sensor is the part th screws in directly above what you ate talking about. If the part you are talking about isn't staying like it should, are there any options, or just buy new?

Middle diagram part number 45 is what I was calling pressure sensor. The part you are referring to is part number 6, correct?
