Gday again was hoping someone could post a picture of what their choke looks like and how it operates as mine in missing. Cheers.

What part are you missing?

The main choke rod is just that, a rod with a hook. You can drill a hole for a cotter pin, or attach it with
a clip.

There is another piece, a short link that cracks open the throttle slightly when the choke is pulled.

Here is something I found in the archives.
Choke Link

Thanks for the reply Steve. My choke is just a metal rod with no knob and it doesn't stay out it has to be held, I'm use to chokes that would stay out then be pushed in again when the operator is ready, which is correct?

My two chokes tend to retract as well. I believe that retracting is normal. If you wish to keep it open try a clothes pin. Even at -10 Celsius I seldom have to hold the choke for more than 10 seconds.

Iv'e got a TO35, different set up, no second link.

But it's just a rod, gravity falls open when released.

I've never needed it once the engine starts. But then I don't use it in cold weather.

Wasn't trying to keep it open just making sure it was working correctly.

What did the nob on them look like as mine is missing
