I got a to30 two years ago and it ran and worked without flaw. It pulled a float in the peanut parade last year and earned hushed, but modest approval from the crowd. I can do better! Getting a little paint and tune up for the parade in two days. I noticed the hydraulic oil was low and milky, also a leak at the pto shaft out put. I picked up a new gasket and bearing and some gl1. Pto is disengaged, tranny in neutral, shaft spins by hand, retaining plate unbolted. I can?t pull the pto shaft out past an inch or so. Should I force it? Any thoughts?
